Oct 1, 2015 Along with many critics, Kanye said MBDTF was perfect, while at the same time saying Yeezus wasn't. I REALLY TRY not to judge albums like most critics would. I don't really go by technical s---. I go by how certain aspects of the album make me feel better or worse while listening....because i really really really think music is about Feeling. It shouldn't be judged like a teacher would judge a student's science project. With that being said there are lots of things, some very small, that I would have changed/added/took away from MBDTF. I can't say the same about Yeezus. Which one do you think is more "perfect"?
Oct 1, 2015 While you and I share somewhat different views on our take of music (im a huge fan of the technical aspect of rap music/allmusic, but i'm hybrid in that I can appreciate "feeling" too) I actually think this is an interesting assessment. Sometimes there might be a track I skip on MBDTF in my front to back runthrough for whatever reason. For instance I'm not the hugest fan of Devil in a New Dress because it's "tiresome" in a way to me, maybe because I've listened to it so many times. And Blame Game is another track im not always up to listening to admittedly. However whenever I listen to Yeezus front to back it almost always feels seamless, almost flawless.

Oct 2, 2015 I agree. I think MBDTF does things lyrically and conceptually that are better than anything Kanye has done. But if we're talking just pick an album and play it from start to finish, the flow Yeezus has is pretty perfect
