Oct 21, 2015 I think the news today were subconsciously making me want to go out and commit a felony, so it's a few days old but here's a positive story. Billionaire Who Invented 5-hour ENERGY Giving Away 99% of His Fortune — Wants to Save the World October 14, 2015 By First to Know “If you have wealth, it’s your duty to help those who don’t,” says Manoj Bhargava. Bhargava is the owner and founder of 5-hour ENERGY. He’s also giving away 99 percent of his fortune in an effort to try and save the world, one project at a time. Currently, he is concentrating on three areas: water, energy and health. His plan of attack is to deliver products which directly impact humanity on a large scale, to make a difference in the lives of billions and “not just talk about it.” And his work is never quite done. In the film Billions in Change, you’ll see what projects he’s working on, including the Rain Maker, Free Electric and Renew. The Rain Maker is able to take unusable water from the ocean and turn it into drinking water in just a matter of minutes. According to Bhargava, it can create about 1,000 gallons of water in an hour. Free Electric is a way of generating unlimited, pollution-free energy. It involves a person using a hybrid bicycle. After pedaling for an hour, enough electricity can be produced to provide a rural household with electricity for 24 hours. And Renew is a product that enhances circulation to prevent disease. You can watch the film below, or learn more about how Bhargava is doing his part to make a difference by checking out Billions in Change http://firsttoknow.com/billions-in-change-manoj-bhargava-gives-away-his-fortune/
Oct 21, 2015 His vision could somehow keep some rich guy somewhere from getting richer, he'll definitely run into problems if thats the case. It's dope he's at least trying to go through with this tho. I feel like most everybody has this idea of giving away a good amount of their fortune to needier ppl if they someday become rich, but the ones that do become rich end up being corrupted by the idea of never having enough money/power.
