Dec 8, 2015 Overrated? Babadook imo. It's a really great horror movie, but people talk about it as if it's the greatest horror movie of the modern era, that it raised the standard of what a horror movie should be, come on now. The praise it gets is a bit excessive. Underrated? I'd say a vast amount of indie movies, particularly the critically acclaimed ones and/or creative ones (In Bruges, The Way Back, Brick, Coherence, etc. ) are super underrated; they're largely overlooked just because they're indie movies, & that sucks.

Dec 8, 2015 I'm not sure if over rated is the term i would use but everyone told me Shutter Island was a massive mind f--- and has all these crazy plot twists it was pretty straight forward and a little predictable imo.
