Dec 19, 2015 I saw Yeezus album in my music library and decided to listen to it. Gonna share lil review of mine. I really hate this album but I like Kanye and enjoy his music a lot usually so... 01 On Sight - 6/10 Nothing special. Good that it was a short song. Beat was good but not good. Too much of techno. Sounded like Daft Punk can't say I'm a big fan 02 Black Skinhead - 9/10 This has always been my fav song in Yeezus. Very easy to listen to. Awesome song. 03 I Am A God - 5.5/10 Trash song to me. Beat is kinda different. Same as the first song it made me feel mixed lol :D 04 New Slaves - 9/10 You see it's leaders and it's followers but I'd rather be a d-ck than a swallower.. LOL :D Never realized this was that good. I actually like the lyrics a lot. Beat is a lil boring after a while. And the beat change at the end was very unnecessary but beautiful tho.. 05 Hold My Liquor - 5.5/10 Well,before the autotune singing ended I was thinking about giving this song below 5 but then It's good. Beat is kinda good. But again not something you might wanna hear everyday or something like that good song tho. 06 I'm In It - 7.5/10 Liked the beat. But the bridge by that "Jamaican guy" was a lil annoying and too loud for the song but kinda good at the same time too. 07 Blood On The Leaves - 9/10 GOAT beat. I completely forgot about that. Even Yeezy's over usage of autotune sounds good actually. Arguably the best song on the album and might as well can be my new fav. I'd give it a 10 if it wasn't for that annoying last minute of the song where my ears kinda bleed with autotune. Why did he have to overuse this s--- ?... 08 Guilt Trip - 5/10 Boring to me... Not much to say. And how is Cudi's singing on this beautiful anyway ? I mean it wasn't too bad but not good at all... Only good thing about song is the beat I guess. 09 Send It Up - 7/10 Really liked the beat. Liked Kanye's flow on this one. 10 Bound 2 - 6/10 Sample is great but the fact that there is no real drums on this bores the f--- outta me. Wilson's bridge was good. Yeezy's lines were great but listenin' to once will be enough anyway.. OVERALL - 7/10 It's a very unique album. I can say that I don't hate it no more but it's nowhere near as hip hop classics. This is even something I hardly consider hip hop sometimes but anyway I gotta give it to Kanye the props for very unique sound he created. Good job! P.S. -> This review written as I'm listenin' to the album so, it's just how I feel about the songs right after hearing them.. Don't hate on it. EDIT 1: So It has been few days and I'm only listenin' Blood On The Leaves & Black Skinhead sometimes. Other songs I tried to play and listen, I ended up skipping them. Kinda felt boring. This is the problem with this albüm. I guess because it's so different and unique you can listen to it as a whole once but then you don't need or want to listen to the songs again... I feel like it shares the worst album spot with 808s & Heartbreak to me. I like Kanye's music in general tho. Looking forward to next album...
