Jan 15, 2016 I'm using a new tactic to make people aware of my album but so far I'm getting more likes than I'm getting potential purchases. I don't know if I'm wasting money since the sale reports don't come until February but I need to know. Is it worth it to advertise or to just perform concerts and spread the album through word of mouth. I need to rethink my strategy, it's making me broke.
Jan 15, 2016 yes, yes it is. Social media is the most important resource to utilize when you're trying to strategical market your product. The most effective way to market is on those platforms. Yeah, it might take time, but you gotta put in the work. Do you have a website?

Jan 15, 2016 I'm using their official ad tools since I don't have a super large following to utilize hashtags/viral plus I'm kind of old fashioned when it comes to advertising. Not using those fake follower thingies, those get you nowhere.

Jan 15, 2016 haha one can only hope m8 where do you recommend I start advertising? I think you can promote the song within soundcloud. Facebook might be a good option. I use IG a lot but I feel like it's very seldom that someone will go out of their way to click an ad while they're tryna scroll through their timeline.
