Jan 20, 2016 via hnhh jesus walks spaceship family business crack music roses hey mama gone everything i am see me now bound 2 you agree with the list @KanyeSXN ?
Jan 20, 2016 I can't argue against that, but Kanye has so many fantastic joints that fit this same sound that you can sub out a handful of those and still have a great list.
Jan 20, 2016 The funny thing is that nobody answered my question but everyone pretend to know what it means
Jan 20, 2016 Googles says it's "expressing or appearing to express deep and often sorrowful feeling." If we stick to that strict definition (meaning it doesn't have to have soul samples, as the list above seems to believe) then I would have to say my Top 10 would be: Family Business Roses Hey Mama Everything I Am Say You Will Street Lights Runaway Blame Game Hold My Liquor Real Friends EDIT: I was conflicted over whether to put Hold My Liquor or Blood on the Leaves. Even though Kanye only has the one verse on Hold My Liquor, the entire song (including Chief Keef and especially Bon Iver's parts) is one of the most emotional ones he's ever made IMO
Jan 20, 2016 Thanks @ReeserMadness Then aren't "Jesus Walk" or "Crack Music" weird choices? If we replace them by Runaway and Trough the wire Koolo's list is pretty accurate I have the feeling that Wolves could be one of his most soulful track ever
Jan 20, 2016 I agree they're weird choices. As are Spaceship, Gone, See Me Now, and Bound 2 IMO. Picked more due to their musical sound rather than the actual emotional tone.
Jan 20, 2016 I agree that see me now is a weird choice too but i can understand him for the three other tracks
Jan 20, 2016 Bro the beat he did for for Do Or Die, called "Paid The Price" is so d--- soulful. Classic Yeezy.
