Unfortunately, the game finally took a toll on his body.

Look up a dude by the name of "Earl Campbell".

Both have similar running styles and both careers were cut short :mjcry:

It's been a pleasure boss :thankful:

he'll be 30 before the 2016 NFL season starts.

NFL careers are short. they're even shorter for running backs because of how often they get hit. and on top of all of that, lynch has a very hard nosed running style.

    he made the right decision

I was having a conversation with my cousin today about who would you choose, Shaun Alexander or Marshawn Lynch.

I think I might go Alexander. Dude was unreal.

As much as I like Lynch and as good as he was, he was never the best running back in the league. Alexander won MVP so I can't disagree with this. Don't want to take anything away from Lynch though as he has been one of my favorite players to watch the past couple years.

Yeah I love Lynch's style of running. I love down the hill, between the tackles running backs.

But, man, Shaun Alexander was a special talent, much like LT, Curtis Martin, Marshall Faulk, etc.

Shaun Alexander ran behind Walter Jones AND Steve Hutchinson, one is already in the HOF and the other will very likely make the HOF
