Feb 11, 2016 I've never watched part 3, but the the first two ones are classics. They're not about explosives and shootings. They're about the moral decay of human beings and if you hadn't understood it, you should've probably watched the twilight or those lame movies with Jennifer Lawrence. EDIT: or watch the godfather trilogy once again with a different mindset.

Feb 12, 2016 I like Coppola's The Conversation more than either Apocalype Now or The Godfather. I haven't seen The Godfather 2 yet. The 70s are widely considered the pinnacle of American Cinema and The Godfather is a very accessible picture despite its run time. It's understandable why it's so high in public opinion. Especially when it fathered other beloved mob pictures like Goodfellas.
