A more accurate comparison would be Drake (2015) vs. 50 Cent (2003)...

In that case, Drake > 50 Cent cause IYRTITL > GRODT.

    Best songs on GRODT

    1. In Da Club
    2. What Up Gangsta
    3. If I Can't
    4. Back Down
    5. Wanksta

Everything else is either meh and/or trash and this is an 19 album "classic" we're talking about.

50 was arguably on the top of the game
Drake's status is currently a lot lower than that

Arguably, since 50 Cent has become less popular he started making better music. Examples include Kahan Reloaded and this.

    Terror Squad, Lean Back.

Ironically from one of 50 Cent's rivals.

    Sorry, numbers don't lie.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_da_Club
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lean_Back

Please take a hip-hop history course. Lean Back is the second most popular rap song of all time not based on quality but on official numbers.

"In 2008, it was ranked at number 18 on VH1's "100 Greatest Hip Hop Songs"
'In 2008, VH1 ranked "Lean Back" #55 in its "100 Greatest Hip Hop Songs" list"
Got that from the links YOU gave

Not taking an L yet. VH1 is a media outlet; not an official source of the greatest hip-hop songs of all time.

If XXL put Lean Back at #18 and In Da Club at #55 than your argument would be proven invalid.

Remember, every list is subjective. I'm just going by BILLBOARD numbers.

We get it, you like 50 Cent. No need to defend it to death.

It's the second most popular song bumped in clubs. That's the criteria. Now I want you to name one song that isn't In Da Club or Lean Back or even Hotline Bling that has the same level of popularity of those 3 songs.

I'm not saying 50 Cent is better than Drake or that Drake is better than 50 Cent. It's that IYRTITL is a better "album" as in "a collection of songs with a consistent sound" than GRODT. But if you take Animal Ambition and Kahan Reloaded and combine that together. It's probably be better than IYRTITL.

    AA/KR 50 > GRODT/TM/Curtis/BISD 50.
