    Colin Cowherd yesterday said this:

On a side note, I don't really like Colin and don't even feel he's a great sports guy to listen to for his opinions cuz i feel he doesn't know a ton of details and often talks about it from a business/wider sense...But anyways....

If you didn't watch the video, he basically says Lebron used to be an A+ at everything and is now a A-/B+ at everything, he also compares Bron to a pitcher post tommy john surgery who can sometimes throw their best stuff, but not on a regular basis. He says you won't get 45 point nights from Bron anymore.

I want to see how this series finishes before being 100% sure of my answer but I'm leaning towards no as well, he doesn't look like he's at his best and has probably already lost a step from an athletic standpoint. I was always curious how the later part of his career would go since he still hasn't developed an outside shot like MJ and Kobe both had, next season will be very interesting for him.

So what do you guys think?

I think he's out of it. I think part of it is that now he has to pick and choose when to exert energy. We see him roaming more on defense and get beat more often, and his ability to get past guys and his ball handling have both seemingly gotten a bit worse. The guy is still a beast, but just from the eye test he looks a bit slower overall and he can't give 110% for 48 minutes like he used to, which was his prime. This is a bit out of it. It happens, usually this is around when it starts, even for the greats. Still, the greats can keep at it and their first few post-prime years will still be great.

I think Colin is a f---in idiot but that's a whole different discussion.

Like that comment about Kobe's last 5 years not being as good as the 10 previous.

1st of all, no player's last 5 years in the league are as good as their 1st 10.

2nd, Kobe had great seasons in 2011-12 & 2012-13, so that doesn't really hold much water since he basically missed the entire season in the 2 following years.

Bron is still in his prime. Yeah he peaked in Miami, but doesn't every player peak from age 26-30? He's definitely in the tail end, but I wouldn't go so far as to say he's out of it. He's 31, he'll probably stay at this level for another season or 2 before the inevitable drop off, which could be huge for Bron since he doesn't have even an average jumper and is reluctant to play major minutes at the 4.

First of all, Colin Cowherd should be set off on an ice floe. Second:
At first glance that looks like a meaningless distinction but it's actually exactly right. This is undoubtedly still his prime. I would argue that, even though it required him to play more physically, Spoelstra making him learn the power forward position is going to end up extending his streak at the top of the league.
