So I got a new computer now, I've had it for a little while. Lately I've been noticing some massive annoyances/bugs in Chrome/Web browsing in general. I'll list them below and if anyone could give me some suggestions/help on trying to fix this, would be much appreciated. (im working on updating a lot of drivers on my PC right now, hoping that will resolve these issues.)

-Embedded pictures/videos/gifs rarely load, (usually have to smash dat refresh button fam) on this site only???????? (happens on my phone too, so think it may be router related, if it isn't something on sxn80's end???)

-When scrolling any webpages, sometimes the page goes blank, or flashes, then refreshes and returns to the top (fucken pisses me right off when i'm scrolling down threads for example)

basically just want to know if this is (unlikely) something on sxn80's end by chance (for the first point)

Any help would be appreciated.

Those problems sound like they're from your end man. Especially the first point. Usually if that happens for me I just flush the dns through the command prompt.

update: im walking on thin ice and just hoping everything works cause GPU+drivers are some of the most cunty things to configure on a PC. been scrolling up and down this page for a bout a min and havent seen the bug happen yet though, lets hope it stays like this. About to open DotA2 now and if it doesn't run properly i'm never logging into sxn80 again cause i've thrown the router into the neighbours pool and I'll just treat my PC as an art making console

Update 2: problem with mouse scroll still persists.

A few Forums I went one via google searches to look for help, still had that weird images not loading properly thing. Did a complete clear of browser history/cache/cookies/whatever else - seems fixed now.

Update 3: nup. fucken embedded s--- (mostly tweets) wont fucken load properly half the time. though embedded vids and pics seem to be going alright.

When you say Tweets, you mean like they'll only show half and not the full thing right?

(I assume its tweets) but yeah nah like it shows a grey box where the tweets should be, opening a new incognito window to see if I can view it there as some people online have suggested

Yeah on chrome, I think Chrome may be the issue - or my router, cause i get the same issue on my phone at times. I just tried the incognito thing and still doesn't seem to be working. Maybe im just fucken trolling myself though, and the thing I'm trying to look at got deleted? Screenshots in a sec

i see this, and every time someone else shows a tweet, i see this same box

(when i tried uploading it to imgur, i went to imgur and the page didn't load properly - had to refresh the page twice before it loaded correctly)
and below is an example of the bullfuckery that seemingly randomly happens across random webpages


I'm gonna browse the site ona different browser and see if it's just chrome that's f-----. gonna also have a sus of my router, see if that's got some fucky settings. this is legit so fucken weird though. It's not a slow internet problem either, (i know my internet is s---, but download speeds are the same atm - so it's not a bandwidth problem)

anyways i've done heaps of s--- and i'm about to call it quits after trying a different web browser for the night and try more s--- tomorrow most likely, till then any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

On internet explorer now, just as f-----, if not more f----- than Chrome. honestly this s----s tripping me out. steam is running fine, so I dunno what the f--- this s--- is.

The OP there works for me and your images are working for me.

Try flushing your dns again (like literally whenever it happens for me I just do that and then refresh the page and it goes back to normal...)

I don't know how else to help atm aside from my advice above.

Still up the s---, but it's happening across every webpage/browser so I don't think it's anything on sxn80's end. Seriously doing my head in though, cause i've done nothing abnormal in the last week. gonna download another anti-virus program and let that scan see if its that.
