First, I would like to ask that this thread stay on the topic of the DNC and of course all comparisons to the RNC.

Second, what do you expect from Bernie's speech? I voted for Bernie, but I expect nothing but unity. I will be absolutely stunned to see a Ted Cruz moment from any speaker.

Third, whose speech are you anticipating the most? For me it is Barack, Bill, Michelle, Warren, Bernie, and then Hillary. In that order.

Finally, any unusual predictions? I have none but I'm curious.

If Bernie comes out and tells his supporters to vote Hillary, it's a slap in the face to everything he campaigned on and everything he claimed to stand for...

If Bernie comes out and tells his supporters to NOT vote for Hillary, then he's giving the election to Trump...

    Either way, Bernie is f-----

Actually he isn't lol. This email leak has gained him more power and when Hilary wins, he's going a get a very influential position, allowing him to affect some of the change he wanted. With Trump, he gets nothing

When Bernie and Hillary were in the Senate together, didn't they vote together 93% of the time? Meanwhile, Bernie and Trump agree on one item, trade. Trump is the opposite of Bernie, while Hillary is slightly to the right of Bernie.

I am torn on this 'protest', as I am happy to see Hillary adopt some of Bernie's views. He must take the stage and point out that his supporters have far more in common with her than Trump. Either way, it should be very entertaining tonight.

Bernie voters ARE being ridiculous. What is the goal now? The mission was accomplished once their views became part of the DNC platform. Next, their goal should be to stop Trump and then again fight for Hillary to earn their vote over the next four years. But first, if you believe in Bernie, you have to stop Trump.

In 08, the primary race was much, much closer. Clinton came out and moved for Obama to be nominated by acclamation. An enthusiastic endorsement is the right thing to do.

Booker was very good. He's a bit of an empty suit--maybe born to be vice president--but it was exactly what the convention needed at that moment.

Franken alone was fine, I guess; the Silverman-Franken bit was absolutely atrocious, though lots of the blame goes to the stage manager. Silverman calling Sanders supporters "ridiculous" almost threw the whole convention into chaos.

Warren doesn't really have it as an orator but the substantive points of her speech were positively vicious.

Michelle Obama was absolutely f---ing fantastic.

Michelle Obama was straight up impeccable. Warren is not a good speaker but she served her purpose and got her points across. Booker was excellent. And Bernie has done a really solid job so far with his speech. I hope he can calm his supporters down and create some unity (as a fervent Bernie supporter myself).

You know, Sanders supporters have complained for a year now that he doesn't get enough earned media. But his campaign seemingly doesn't understand how the news cycles work: you have to have a message calendar, you have to update the stump, you have to give the press something new. He hit the same exact points from last fall through last month; it was a flat circle. Now he comes out tonight and rehashes it all over again. Not seizing the moment at all.

The only people who say "cuck" are basement-dwelling dweebs who think they're models of masculinity.

Ye, I supported him over Hilary at first but the debates made it painfully clear he's only very knowledgeable on certain issues. Let's not even talk about his cluelessness when it comes to foreign policies
