    More than likely. He was depressed while making Born Sinner so it's nothing new

    He isn't depressed. He's expressing emotions about how he feels about the times, and how he felt at the certain point in time he wrote the song. If anything he is having a struggle between the rap life (the dream he's always had) and the married life (the new dream of his).

    I would argue he may have been depressed but his music helped him overcome that

    .....but I doubt a rich n----- who just got a platinum album (with no features), who just got married to his longtime gf is depressed..he's living life rn

    This may seem a little farfetched, but it's probably based on him being considered "boring" and that his music "puts people to sleep".
    He continuously tries to satisfy and improve but gets the same complaints every time.
    Again, this seems like a reach, but I dunno.
    I'd react pretty similarly if I were in that situation.
