Nov 3, 2016 Drake is an obvious fraud. a culture vulture a user and a biter. but because he makes hit singles fans and other artists give him a pass or simply look the other way. 90's and 2000's babies are too ignorant of the history to care or know any better and veteran artists don't care. s--- is sad if you look at it for what it truly is. but at the end of the day you gotta give credit to the Jewblack. he's been the most consistent. but I guess when you have other people writing for you how hard can it be :mjpls:
Nov 3, 2016 Rick Ross proved that tho. Even after 50 exposed him and his baby mama, people still chose Ross over 50. Casual, commercial Rap fans never really cared about the culture tbh.
Nov 3, 2016 Dre used hov, D.O.C, eminem, and kendrick as writers. Biggest fraud in hip hop, but he got a billi so who gives a f---
Nov 3, 2016 the point everyone in this thread is missing is that ghostwriting doesn't really matter if the music is good, but in this case the music is NOT good. views was f---ing terrible and everything he's released since has been terrible. he can't drop terrible music, use writers for aforementioned terrible music, and then claim to be a top-tier rap artist. he either has to write his own s--- and actually put effort into it or start getting better writers. people don't give dre s--- for using writers because his music was great, but views is not 2001 by any means.
Nov 3, 2016 sorry we would rather listen to radio hits than a 44 year old rap for 7 mins and say nothing?
Nov 3, 2016 The four unironic uses of "the culture" in this thread are a bigger detriment to 'the culture' than anything Drake has ever done
Nov 3, 2016 But it's been overused to the point that its lost all meaning. Nothing Drake is doing is unprecedented. His music is bad sure, but his actions are nothing new. Ghostwriting and plagiarism are as much a part of the culture as anything else.
