Because when Eminem was doing the Gangsta Rap phase from 2003-2005 with tracks like Drama Setter, Welcome To Detroit City, Welcome To D-Block, Black Cotton they liked it Only when he done the Horrorcore Relapse album they voiced how much they hated it Anything that has Eminem doing a melodic hook, a catchy melody, a sing along hook and has commercial production is gonna be loved by the world, sell and enjoyed by most people history proves this with the exception of Relapse as horrorcore rap is just not cool to listen to

There is an argument it is considered more cooler than it ever was It's not about content like some assume which I tried explain to @Spatula Mos Def, Nas, Talib Kweli, 2pac, Common, Andre 3000, Canibus, Black Thought, Pharoah Monch, KRS-One rap with emotion about conscious topics. But the 14, 15, 16 year old teenage girls that like Eminem don't like their music at all It's about the execution your average music fan, your typical Eminem fan that says they like emotion, substance what they really want is Pop music based on a catchy melody, sing along tracks, catchy harmonies regardless of the content

Nov 21, 2016 Only nerds in my experience hate U.K. Rap that is not back pack I'm not into Grime though but didn't post a video of a Grime video just U.K. Rap. Can't stand Grime Also it's hilarious and contradictory to say u dislike U.K. Rap if u like American Rap because U.K Rap is just like American Trap, Drill and Gangsta Rap only difference is the accent I can give a valid reasoning why I hate lyrical, complex, technical rap like Jay Z, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Common, Wu Tang, Canibus, J Cole, Andre 3000, Rakim, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli, Ice Cube, Slaughterhouse, Brand Nubian. Because I find it boring, non musical and very one dimensional. Those rappers and that type of lyrical rap lacks the things I enjoy and am looking for which are melody, harmonies, singing, musicality, catchiness. So I listen to rappers who make music with these elements and excel in those departments such as Eminem, B.o.B, 50 Cent, Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, Chief Keef, Rich HomieQuan, Nelly.
