    meant to respond to this awhile ago cause i realized i skipped it but

    anyway

    yeah, i'm excited about this one too, especially after those nights. don't get me wrong, i loved that project (obv), but... it just was pretty far and away from my normal work in terms of feel and style, and i feel like i've been losing more and more of my old sound as i've progressed with CY-AR. some ways i think that's good and branching out is always nice, but then it's like i'm also just feeling like i'm... selling out I guess? and the stuff on Those Nights was just not me, it wasn't all that personal, and the sound on a lot of it just felt like me forcing things by trying to go lighter to appeal to more people...

    reflection is like the opposite of it in terms of feel and it's definitely personal, and me... and there's more of the sort of atmospheric/cinematic vibe on the album than the vast majority of CY-AR stuff i've put out. i'm just getting back to what i want to do with stuff now... and it's to the point where I think I may revisit Free and try to release some sort of version (maybe I'll remake all the tracks or somethin) in the near future after Reflection. who knows tho :dunno

    okay, so i've been taking a wee bit of a hiatus from music making the past couple months now, and i was wondering before i start back up, if anyone would just give me some general feedback like, favorite/least favorite tracks from each project, favorite/least favorite concept/style/sounds etc.

    Already had these in this thread so if you can, either for the first time or if you've already heard these, just go through and tell me what you think overall. I'm about to start up again to work on this album, I want to know what's been the most successful in other peoples eyes, just to get a general feeling of what people seem to like the most from me

    idc if you s--- on it or not, just give me the truth and tell me what you feel, and if you kno someone who'd be willingly to give feedback like this, mention 'em for me if they're not already a part of one of the groups i'm mentioning below
