    Fair point, but Thriller was released 33 years before Purpose was made, so it's kind of difficult to compare both albums, since the times/genres/styles were different.

    However, I think Thriller holds up pretty well through the test of time, while Bieber's Purpose (although great) is only 2 years removed from being released.

    Plus Thriller was a worldwide phenomenon. Dude sold 65 million copies. I usually don't care about record sales, but that's just straight ridiculous.
