    Paranoia Agent, only anime that was dramatic and hooking to me. It wasn't traditional, it really took some experimental directions and ditched many of the anime trademarks. It's not anime per say, just a Japanese dramatic animation.

    Angel Beats is a good combination of all 3

    It's only 13 episodes, but it's very consistent and has a unique premise

    Both subbed and dubbed HD versions are available for free streaming on Anime Tofu

    If you're gonna get into Berserk definitely read the manga instead of watching the anime or movies, the art style is a billion times better and they leave out key aspects that are central to Guts' character or the overall series.
