Lot of good European prospects on the card though. Not a lot of highly ranked guys but the match ups should bring some entertaining fights.

Jan 22, 2015 its weird though is the crowd going to be into it that late? i mean some of them will probably f--- up their sleep cycles just so they're awake for it but i'd imagine a lot of them are gonna be falling half asleep. either way f--- em tho ill be watching at like 1:30 am my time or whatever time it comes on here

Jan 22, 2015 No s---, I had a friend over once and coincidentally I was watching that card and after the Jones vs Gustafsson fight he became a MMA fan, keeping up with current events til this day. Before that, he never saw a single MMA fight.
Jan 22, 2015 They put those cards on Fight Pass though. This is a huge Fox show that they wouldnt have otherwise put in Europe if it wasnt for the time. But they still sold out a 30K seat stadium so the ppl are still interested. As for the fighters you would have to assume they have been training late night in anticipation. Fox shows start at 8 ET, thought you were from Canada or something.
Jan 22, 2015 I wouldn't really say it's huge. Henderson is the most recognizable fighter on that card, and he is 70 as Jones would say. I don't think casual fans will go out of their way for this one. But it is the first UFC on Fox overseas so I guess it's more of time slot issue or agreement with the network?
Jan 22, 2015 No Gus vs Johnson is a huge fight, a FOX main event. Not something you put on Fight Pass. Also Hendo vs Mousasi and Davis vs Bader are FN headliners despite what you think about the Bader/Davis fight. Just consider it an American card if it helps you.
Jan 22, 2015 Never heard of Albert Tumenov then i guess. Im sure you will will be a lot more aware of the European prospects after this card. I would be shocked if this card didnt deliver, Davis vs Bader will probably s--- but everything else will be entertaining.
Jan 24, 2015 I paid $320 (which is like £170) a seat for UFC 149. That card f---in s----d. Well the undercard was sick, and the original line up on paper was good, but the main card was brutal. Barao vs Faber was a very technical match up but it was too late at that point. But to be honest it was still amazing just being able to see it live. I'll pay that again when they come here, hopefully this summer.
