Eminem What changed?

    a big question that confuses me is what happened to Eminem that made him change in so many ways from his prime to recent years?

    His style, quality, lyrical ability and production has lacked the spark that he had in his prime. It's easy for people to say he fell off but it seems to extreme how it's affected almost every aspect.

    Well a man in his 40s cant rap or act like he did when he was a lot younger, it would be stupid..
    He had that drug problem witch lead him to a whole bunch of wrong choices
    and and after 4-5 years he came back tryin to pick it up from where he left it..
    Music surely changed a lot during that time and he tried to adjust
    and be more mature like a man of his age should be..
    The only thing that kinda ruins it for me is some bad choices in the beats..
    Changing flow is not really that bad, it would be boring to hear the same s--- 15 years now.
    Plus we know Em is always tryin different things between albums

    what changed? he's run out of stories to tell. that's why he now focuses more on lyrical miracle raps

    Hours new s--- don't have you rewinding that s--- to here some dope s--- he spit. His lyrics have become very corny and his references are almost always outdated

    he thinks its fun to challenge his mind and make mad rhyming pattern but thats not what people want even in his interview with sway in the morning with tech em called rapping a sport when he should be thinking of it as an art.

    Lack of passion. Soldier came on my shuffle yesterday and you could just tell he was excited and still had something to prove. Now, while his technical ability may arguably be at an all time high, his hunger is not imo and he seems aimless.

    I totally agree with you. If you like him as you did once, you understand him and you understand his evolution thoughout the years.

    I was starting to think I was the only one who still love his songs
