Feb 24, 2015 I know recovery was sorta poppy and not the em we were used to and it gets hate for that (which I get) ... It had moments of brilliance. I mean they may seem corny to some but not afraid or love the way you lie had some cultural importance. Even if that's not the em we know its still good. How many people make conscious songs like that that might help someone get through a situation? Its a different kind of good, but at least its something new. I think that's why that album so successful it finally felt like he wasn't chasing his old image, it was more like he had some creativity to him again. Mmlp 2 seemed kinda like a step back into the darkness and into his shadow of what he once was, and h--- never win that way. I'd love to have another recovery-esque album minus the yelling and cringeworthy metaphors. Anything but the same old worn out persona we all know he's outgrown

Its cool to show it but he over does it. Like rapgod was dope and had people saying d--- he can still spit, but an album full of rap god type songs isn't listenable and is veeerrrry boring and repttitive

Feb 24, 2015 Idk.. Like I get him doing the whole nostalgia thing cause ignorant fans always will buy because its em. And no doubt he's always gonna have a few great songs on any given solo project, but think of what made him so big... Being a breath of fresh air in rap. He needs to be that again, and preferably not in the shock value way lol. It was cool when he was young but that's just not him anymore, he shouldn't force it cause some fans beg for it. Just needs to be himself, or if he really is out of things to say then hang it up! Save some bars for the occasional feature.. Only if its beneficial to the legacy he's built. h--- save some dignity that way. But I agree he neeeeds the bass bros, just hope he realizes that and isn't blinded by that reclusive clique hes in

Feb 24, 2015 Listen to guts over fear.. You can just tell man. He's past that stuff but he feels forced to write the same old song. I don't doubt he's a little off his rocker... Rightfully so the dudes been through some stuff. But I think he's definitely matured as a person and artist to where the whole slim shady thing is kind of ran into the ground. "I'd rather make not afraid 2 than make another mothafuckin we made you" sums up that point

Feb 24, 2015 Next/last album will be classic. Will be the 'retirement' album. I'm calling it now. If songs selection was a little different, and a------ was scrapped (I still hate that beat badly) don't front made the disc etc etc.... MMLP2 could have been pretty close.
Feb 24, 2015 I think it will. Dude think about it... he's like 42!! He releases albums in like 4 year cycles these days. Recovery was 2010, MMLP2 2014. He'll be like 46 in 2018?? He's not gonna go on forever man. I think he's got one more in him, and thats all you can guarantee. If he changes the cycle and starts bringinng more s--- out quicker and finds a creative lane then yeah sure, but I can't see it.

Feb 24, 2015 2010 Recovery 2011 h---: The Sequel 2012 nothing 2013 MMLP2 2014 SHADYXV he won't do another Label compilation in near future and I don't think that he'll release another BME project soon, but he wants to make music (it looks like that at least), so I think he might release a solo album next year.
