Jan 8, 2016 A section for tracks released daily by artists who don't have their own section. Ideally it would replace the need to use another site like 2DBz or HHH to stay up to date with the newest stuff. It would be easily sustainable, more so than the new album discussion sxn. It would also be more practical than a singles thread which would be hard to navigate. A trial run of a week would prove all of this imo.
Jan 8, 2016 Hmmm subs don't usually turn out so well. But this idea has potential. Could be a good way for people to keep up with what's been released. Since i sometimes see new songs get buried in page 2 before some people have a chance to see. (lol @ hhh & 2dp, poverty blogs)
Jan 8, 2016 I'd suggest an entirely new sxn, but I know most of the upper management wouldn't want that. HHH is a forum and 2DBz is one of the cleanest/best designed ones around lol.
Jan 8, 2016 I'm all for it. I always want to check out the songs you guys post daily, but I usually don't have time for scrolling through the pages to actually find one. It'd be better if everything was in one place. I'm cheering for you to get this s--- done.
Jan 8, 2016 What I think would be dope instead is to filter the music sxn to show new singles only. I don't want to add a new section because we have so many already at this point, we've been talking about condensing a few by merging them (like News/Life, X vs Y etc.) But the point you made about it potentially replacing the need for 2DBZ etc is very true. I think if we could develop something that filters the sxn to only show threads that have the [NEW] tag on it (since this has been used for singles exclusively), we could fully implement this idea without the need to add a new forum. The great thing is that Slyk already made it so the tag automatically expires 14 days after the thread is made, so even if someone bumps an old thread with the [NEW] tag, it won't show up. Only singles current within a 2 week time period. @Koolo @Slyk what do you guys think, and how hard would this be to add?

Jan 8, 2016 Its hard for subsxns to pop, we had the album discussions as a subforum for a while and eventually deleted it. It's back now as a main forum for that reason.
