    Actually this is more than horribly wrong lol, people were making jokes cause Jay was ignoring Cole and wouldn't hype him up. Now that he's one of the only few platinum rappers, it's cause of Jay?:what22:

    It's because Jay signed him initially. Did not know anything about Jay Z ignoring J. Cole and not hyping him up.

    Dame Dash actually signed Kanye West to Roc-A-Fella, not Jay...

    From Wikipedia.

Jay-Z later admitted that Roc-A-Fella was initially reluctant to support West as a rapper, claiming that many saw him as a producer first and foremost, and that his background contrasted with that of his labelmates.[35][36]"

    So? He's not the first to dislike Cole, he won't be the last. His argument isn't even different. 'he's boring'

    I guess you have to scream on a track to be interesting because people want to act like their faves don't rap about the same s---, just different locations, beats, etc.

    Whole reason people g--- up on Cole is because of comments like this. Bruh coles biggest song got him singing bout hoes suckin d-ck Thug and Futures biggest songs are about living life and not falling into criminal trappings (Lifestyle) and coping with drug addiction and depression (Codeine Crazy) what u on.
