Feb 7, 2015 I think my favorite Em album will be Slim Shady LP, it has aged well, good beats, verses, songs, the whole album is incredible. My favorite track on it is Role Model, nothing awkward or anything of the songs that are bad. Favorite part about the song. Feb 7, 2015 Recovery is arguably the most meaningful and important album of his career. He was pretty much washed up at that point after releasing two bad albums in six years. Recovery is what got his career back on track. Love The Way You Lie was the most successful single of his career. But more importantly he addressed so many issues on that album. His drug addiction and recovery, Proof's death, his second divorce from Kim, and admitting that he fell off, both personally and musically, was huge in my opinion. Not to mention I had a personal connection with that album because I just got out of a six year relationship when it released and songs like Space Bound and 25 To Life really helped me through it. I also stopped using drugs around that same time which gave me another connection to the album. I still haven't touched anything (besides a few drinks here & there) since March of 2010. The Eminem Show on the other hand, along with the 8 Mile Soundtrack, was the peak of his career. Flawless album. I have a personal connection with that album too because it came out right as I was graduating high school.
