Aug 16, 2017 I mean in person by the way, not online. Maybe someone at work or a friend or something but doesn't necessarily have to be someone you know well. I live in a very liberal area, near Portland, OR and I don't know of anyone at this point. If you do what's their reasoning and are they defending the way he's handled this past week? Do they blindly defend everything Trump does or do they critique some of what he does as well?
Aug 16, 2017 Yes. Most of them do it just to be edgy/controversial though. So essentially your coco/jmgs of the world. The ones that are serious tend to ignore all noise & claim it's "liberal media" blowing things out of proportion.
Aug 16, 2017 My best friend got radicalized during #GamerGate... He's Alt-Light now... We don't talk politics and know how each other feels.
Aug 16, 2017 Also, I live in Alaska and work construction so I know lots of people who are dumb people.
Aug 16, 2017 A bunch of Americans obsessed with Donald Trump are absolutely buttblasted that an Aussie interacted with them love how you think you are an expert
Aug 16, 2017 Yes, quite a few people unfortunately. In particular, my dad, who previously I'd known to be fairly liberal, he's fallen pretty far down the rabbit hole of crazy like his father did years ago and continues to just double down on his support despite everything.
Aug 16, 2017 #ImpeachTrump has been trending number 1 for 5+ hours on twitter. This is what happens when he has a press conference.
Aug 16, 2017 Some people are just straight up sheep and blind followers. It won't matter what Trump does, they'll follow him regardless of what he says or does.
Aug 16, 2017 I've been studying talk radio and the CEC for a long long long time... (20+ years, I'm old)... I never seen anyone fall into the trap and come back out. It requires too much commitment... They feel too much of a reward from all the conformation bias and feeling superior to people who live in reality because in their mind they feel like they know the "real truth." They just stay on this treadmill on ever changing values they think they hold so strongly but will abandon right away when Hannity tells them to think something else. I don't know the cure.
Aug 16, 2017 Trump probably doesn't even give a s--- about his approval rating at this point or just dismisses it as 'fake news.' I posted a story last week about how he gets a folder twice a day with positive press/tweets, it's so pathetic how he's completely ignoring anything negative related to him.
Aug 16, 2017 It doesn't matter if he cares... There is math that will kick in and (R) congressman will turn their backs on him or even impeach him. If by a miracle the Dems get a (or both) majorities back in 2018... He will be impeached immediately.
Aug 16, 2017 So you don't think rappers deserve credit for a classic album if they're 'bad people' but you have no issues with Trump?
Aug 16, 2017 That's not my point lol. Why are you more upset at rappers being 'bad' than the president?
Aug 16, 2017 Islam support genocide, hates jews even more than nazis, hates everyone that isn't them, oppresses women and proclaims that gay's should be decapitated with a sword. Does this justify violence against Islam? If muslim's went to protest for sharia law, and a group of white liberals counter-protested and violence erupted, would trump be wrong for saying that both sides are wrong for fighting? This is just about the narrative. You can't frame being skeptically unbiased as morally wrong.
