    i think every producer has writers on their hip, maybe not J. Cole, Eminem or Havoc of Mobb Deep since those dudes been rapping for the beginning of their careers. but i'm pretty sure these guys definitely do

    f you dont write your own lyrics its still classed as ghost writing just because you credit them dont mean s---.

    Dre has always credited D.O.C etc but people will say he uses ghotwriters still

    In other genres such as pop and R&B you would be called a songwriter yes and looked at differently, in hiphop it doesnt work the same
