    They're both great, two of my favorite artists out and two of the best alive right now. I honestly just prefer Gates over Thug though. Gates has a better discog overall and there are not many artists that can write a hook like he can.

    Gates music is blunt-force honesty.

    I had this conversation with someone earlier lol.
    Voted for Gates. He's more versatile, and usually stays on topic. Plus Islah is one of the best albums ever released.

    Thug is still dope though
