Mornings

    I've come to realize that there's no better feeling than waking up early with a cup of coffee. There's something so serene about it...I feel so clear-headed. It's kind of a hard feeling to describe.

    I used to be a huge night person who stayed up late partying and slept in all the time, but as I got a bit older and grew tired of the college/party lifestyle, I came to appreciate my mornings a lot more. So much better to wake up on your day off feeling 100% and ready to start the day than hungover with a hole in your wallet.

    Obviously I still drink and sleep in sometimes (too many fun times to be had not to), but I can't do that s--- like I used to. Just not worth it for me.

    We got any other morning people here?

    I completely agree. There have been many mornings where I woke up after a night of drinking at like 8 or 9 and went out on the back deck of my house with a cigar and a book with a glass of water or OJ. Like you said, it's so serene. One of my favorite things to do tbh. Also really like getting up early and going fishing or golfing. f--- man, this makes me want summertime so bad. Only a month left!

    A lot of people I know don't really like fishing, they call it ''boring'', but it's actually sort of refreshing..

    Different strokes for different folks...but personally....I don't find it boring.

    I think fishing is very relaxing.

    Yeah man I can understand that it's not for some people, but I feel like they're missing out. It's a hobby for me. I will probably go almost every day this summer for at least a few hours. I live right along the Mississippi River so fishing is pretty big around here anyways. It's a great way to start the day!

    Yeah, even if I was drinking the night before, I try to get up by 9 or so...you feel so much better getting up and hydrating and starting your day than you do lying in bed, even if it's hard to convince yourself otherwise. Getting up and making breakfast/drinking coffee while you read is one of my favorite things to do as well.

    I've only been fishing a handful of times, but I've always had fun. Even if you don't catch anything, I consider it a success if it was a nice day. People don't realize that a lot of the fun comes from just from relaxing on a nice day with a few friends or family if you're fishing recreationally.

    Same here, I've come to appreciate the tranquility of waking up to start the day right before the grind or before the soccer games I coach on the weekends. Since I graduated back in December I've definitely been a lot more calm & cool, haven't really stepped into the club or bar as often as before. Coffee is amazing forreal

    Smoking a bowl right away in the morning is the best start for me, although I haven't done it in a while since I'm not smoking for now.

    I don't have too much of a preference, but I like to go in the mornings. It's so refreshing. This summer will be a bit different because I'll be working 1st shift Monday-Friday, but I'll get out there during the weekend mornings forsure.

    Never been a fan of this though I know a lot of people love pairing a wake and bake with a cup of coffee every morning. Personally it makes me hazy for the rest of the day. If I smoke it's gonna be an hour or so before bed.

    Yeah if you don't smoke often it can be a little too much, I like to just have a few puffs and not get too high or else I eventually get the hazy feeling that you mentioned.
