    Heyy everybody so I started trying to produce a while ago but I really had poverty programs and didn't knew anything about producing, now I started again and tried to watch some videos like busyworksbeats (if there are other good YouTube producing teachers tell me) and now well I tried to do something myself.

    This is the first result I'm satisfied with.


    What do you guys think?

    First beat I did on a serious software, I worked a little bit before on fruity loops mobile and some poverty fl studio knock off with really trash sounds

    Co-Sign what @Deadpool said about reverb.

    Also could do with some percussion here and there, some more complex hi hat patterns and just layering sounds.

    Also if your on Fl studio experiment with gross beat and fruity love philter.

    it was dope, im really digging the sounds, especially the s--- you start to add half way through

    but it seems to be lacking structure? like it feels like one big build up not a track some one can readily make a song to

    The beat just feels like its stuck in an "intro phase" for quite a long time. Like @Narsh said, it feels like a build up but it kinda goes on forever. Like the drums that come in @ 0:26 I thought they were there as an "intro" and that after a few bars some other elements would come in to help fill the track.

    Yeah I understand what I'm doing wrong but not how to solve it, with other elements you mean like extra drums?

    Like other synths, instruments, hi hats maybe add some cymbals and snare rolls here and there etc, just do anything to add some sort of activity to the beat.

    Midway through that beat reminded me of Lavender Town in Pokemon.

    Actually the beat sorta reminds me of Pokemon... :laff:
