I don't feel like reading the many s--- posts from a month ago where stans argue if Twisted or Stronger Than I Was is better. Personally I think there's a lyrically improvement to some degree, but none of his songs on Shady XV don't have the replay value that select songs on MMLP2 have. & my revised review would've dropped that album from an 8._ to a 6.9-7.5 area. Shady XV might've gotten a 7.5 at first listen & that's because some of the beats on these songs just don't seemed finished or they're just everywhere. Die Alone & Finish Line come to mind immediately.

on xv he's saying more, and saying it better

but of course anyone who doesn't have a vested interest in eminem's life and is just looking for hot beats will think there's only one play on the disc

but I think the fact that so many people are so convinced as to how they feel about this album so soon goes to show how good it is

people forget about s--- music after all

two people have already been stabbed because of his bridge on twisted. his pk verse is godly. right for me contains more info than anyone sifting through recovery and mmlp2 for a clear message could want. fine line got the outsidaz mad as f---. and the dve verse when he uses the insane voice? come on people d---

we just give them that tag even if they are good posters..yes they are delusional when it comes to Em...but their opinions on other things and rappers are quite nice..take @Fried for example..he is kinda odd when it comes to marshall..but his opinions on other matters are cool

You are suggesting there is a causality between Eminem's verse and the stabbing. There isn't.

PD: IMO MMLP2 > Shady XV but is not a fair comparison

Not for me. But I barely liked mmlp as well. Em seems to be rapping however he wants now. We get a glimmer of hope hear and there. I still stand by his last good project being bad meets evil ep. s--- even recovery was more promising.

Mmlp2 and shady xv are both trash. They should just release tracks from the slim shady lp era to the eminem show era from the vaults. He killing his legacy with this trash

His work on Shady XV was way better than MMLP2 imo. MMLP2 was very disappointing and average. Shady XV was a step in the right direction. Fine Line is his best song since Recovery. Vegas is one of Bad Meets Evil's best songs ever. Shady XV (the song) is better than any of the classic rock bs that was on MMLP2. And his Cypher for this album is arguably the best freestyle of his career.

I'm sure they didn't like it. And yeah agree, Fine Line, GoF, and the demo are great but except those most of it is very forgettable. Mmlp2 as well but a handfull of songs I still enjoy listening to
