Nov 11, 2017 remember 2013 when his entire persona was “all I do is rap”. He constantly reiterated that he just raps “full of myself but I’m still hungry” and on the songs he offered an introspective sight into his career but he maintained a goat like personality but it wasn’t anything where he opened up opposed to walk on water. I feel like the reason it’s been 4 years because he has no clue what to do for us cos we shat on the album Recovery was generally praised but he put way more work on MMLP2 (there was someone saying he’s working as hard as he did during TES) it also brought him back into the mainstream so he can’t complain about the reaction. I’m not saying it’s a bad album but he thought it was good enough to call it the mmlp2

Nov 11, 2017 Kind of sad that he thinks he’s at this point in his career where he needs to have marketing ploys to sell records and stadiums. Like imagine thinking you need to die your hair blonde because no one cares when you get a louder reaction from a crowd at another artist show like that night with big Sean.
Nov 11, 2017 The mistake he made was releasing the album. Too many Yes men around him. Also its obvious from WoW he is very sensitive to critics. I notice Just Blaze doesn't work with him anymore he was the one who told the accent was weird.

Nov 11, 2017 Personally I'd take Recovery over MMLP2 any day of the week. Then again I don't mind the poppy sound. I never enjoyed Relapse that much, so for me Recovery was Eminems true comeback.
Nov 11, 2017 Funny thing is he wants to do something new so badly while soooo many artist talk about the same s--- for years. Just with a somewhat new sound. He tries so desperately to addapt that its working against him musically lol. Yesterday we got the maturity from eminem we all wanted even tho the song was not flawless by any means. It does get me more excited about the album and even if its not good it will have some gems like every album he released. I think he literally cares too much lol
Nov 11, 2017 The content on relapse f---ing sucks but it does sound good partially @Big Cuntry based on what u said yesterday, how do you feel about certain songs on relapse? I mean I think the content sucks and therefore I don't think the album is good but songs like hello, same song and dance do sound very enjoyable to me despite the content. (And ofc deja bu but thats 10/10 on both sides)
Nov 11, 2017 I wonder does he get too nervous now recording & it could part of the reason his flow sounds so unannatural & unpleasant to listen. WoW with a Warning flow would have been much better.
Nov 11, 2017 Might be. Eminem is at his best when he's having fun making music (even tho it has cringe lines at least u can hear he has fun) What songs the last few years did he flow good? I thought revenge was not that s-----y flow wise
