Dec 20, 2014 Share your programs, times and everythig else related to running. Did a 3km today, clocked it at 11m 30s. I'm 100% sure I can with optimal preparations go under 11 minutes. Going to try again in a few days.
Dec 20, 2014 Unless you're really fit and been doing cardio for a long time, it's probably not a good idea. If you do it, you're most likely going to end up injuring yourself.
Dec 20, 2014 Oh ok...yah I'm gonna start going to the gym...I cant have no cop chokin me out for being black smh
Dec 20, 2014 I ran my first 5k race after about a month of training.. 25:55, pretty happy with it. Got another one in February
Dec 30, 2014 Went for a run (4x4) 2 days ago and got sick the day after. Now I'm sick on New years eve. Fml.
Dec 31, 2014 you should concoct an aerodynamic break for the middle of your forehead to prevent drag. bet you can shave minutes off those miles there pal. running long distance more than once a week is for twinks and woman.
Dec 31, 2014 Just started a 2x a week running schedule. Different times and heartrates every run.Yes, I run at heartrates (H, D1, D2, D3, W, don't know if they're called like that in English) instead of distances or certain speeds. It feels better on my not so runner-like body. On top of that, I still lift 3x a week, being strong is still the new and the old strong imo.
Jan 1, 2015 You should get more cardio in buddy. Go for 4x a week. Right now I'm doing 50k a week (hoping to increase it to 75k) and am just starting to do some upper body strength training as my new years resolution, but that's not fun.
Jan 1, 2015 Well I practice martial arts 2x a week besides of the running and lifting, which gives me another form of cardio too. So I'm good. Thanks for the advice, though. I find more fun in deadlifting or benchpressing heavy weights than I do in running, to be honest.
