The Nas/Jay debates will rage on forever, however.. in terms of how they've adapted to modern times, who won out?, musically.

    2006 onwards:

    Jay-Z - Kingdom Come (06), American Gangster (07), Blueprint 3 (09), MCHG (13)

Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead (06), Untitled (08), Life Is Good (12)

The only album I'd place ahead of Nas' projects in that timeline is American Gangster. How would you rate them head to head?

Both rappers have had some killer features too, like Jay on Drake joints and Nas on DJ Khaled & Game albums. Both released collaborative albums, although Jay's was a bigger commercial success, quality wise it's debatable.

Forgot how bad KC was lmao. BP3 and MCHG have a few nice tracks. I just haven't really been able to get into Nas :dno:

Personally I like Jay more. And AG >> those Nas albums. But HHID is better than the other Jay albums mentioned so it's very close for me

If they both put out an album tomorrow and I could only get one, I'd cop Nas in a second. He's stayed more consistent in his latter days in terms of making an entertaining, coherent project.

American Gangster is the best album out of the list in OP but Nas' releases are far more consistent
