My cousin and I actually get along quite well. Part of that has to do with the fact that our schedules are opposite. Therefore, we usually aren't home at the same time(s)...so there aren't that many opportunities for us to bump heads.

However, there have been a couple of things that really annoyed me. Our cable USE to be in his name and I guess because this is his first time he's lived away from home, he'd forget to pay our cable bill sometimes. It's not that we didn't have the money to pay it, he simply forgot. Now I understand that people make mistakes, but our cable got turned off FOUR TO FIVE TIMES. If it only happened once or twice.....I could understand. But 5 times is ridiculous. I remember waking up one Sunday morning excited as h--- to watch the Men's Final between Djokovic and Federer and I go to turn on the TV and the God d--- cable was off. I was livid! I banged on cousins bed-room door like I was the PO-lice. I ended up having to go to Applebee's to watch it and I didn't get to see the entire match but I saw most of it.

Another issue we have is that I'm the type of person who doesn't like to have the heat on unless it's absolutely neccasary. He likes having the heat on most of the time (good thing its' now Spring time) but the problem with that is it makes it difficult for me to sleep at night. In order to fall asleep, your body temp has to decrease and having the heat on full-blast works against that. I mean s---, if you're that cold, just put more clothes/blankets

In my earlier years in the Air Force, we have what we call pissmates, because we only have to share a bathroom. I didn't always lock my bathroom door, but after this incident I never forgot.

One time I came home from work, I noticed a light was on and I could hear my microwave on as I started to open my door.

I saw a shadowy figure in my room which ended up being my pissmate and I almost knocked his head smooth off because I thought he was an intruder. Me and my pissmate were not cool enough where he can just go in my room without my knowledge.

He said he was in my room because he needed to use my microwave to heat up a day old whopper with no cheese. I told him that will be the last whopper you ever eat if you ever come in my room without my permission again.

haha, that's a good one. My cousin has actually shared his food with me a few times. A couple of times his girlfriend came over and made the two of them dinner, and there was enough left over...so they gave the rest to me.

The most interesting thing about my cousin as my roomate...is the fact that he NEVER buys groceries. I mean seriously, he eats out for EVERY meal. If you were too look in our frig, everything that's in there is stuff that I bought. He basically eats out all the time. The only exception is when some girl came over and cooked for him. Besides that, he always buys fast food or food from sit down places like Applebees

Yeah this dude used to always buy take out aswell. Would barely cook his own food.

Im not a selfish person, I share food all the time, but all I ask is you ask my permission when using stuff. Or atleast be courteous and return the favour somehow. The Housemate I live with now has literally randomly made me meals just out of kindness.

Dont even mind when people use little things like butter or something occasionally... But this dude was using all my milk, eating my bread, drinking my coffee, taking tins of my beans and putting them in his cupboard, opening my unopened snacks like biscuits and crisps etc. He was a depressed alcoholic, annoying as f--- . Hes on bail now as a few women have accessed him being a r--ist, one of the strangest people I've ever met.

Me and my roommate have been getting along great lately, but earlier in the year we were at each other's throats for some of the stupidest s--- lmao. Like one time I think our flasks got switched around and I came back one night and just tweaked that he had mine. Shortly after, we figured out what had happened and drank a few beers.
Also, because I'm in a college dorm, it sucks whenever one of us is trying to smash. Kinda got annoying earlier in the year when he was bringing a girl back like every weekend, but then I understood when I started to do the same s--- to him hahaha.
Other than that, we really don't have any problems. We don't mind sharing our food or alcohol. It's a just a really chill situation/setup.

f--- your white people roommate problems.

What he did: I had wireless internet, the mother f---er would leach that s--- hard. Like, 3 tv series and 12 movies downloading at once. my bandwidth wasn't s--- so if he did that, I had to wait 5 minutes for a page like facebook to load. This would happen nearly everyday and you kinda get sick of asking "ey bro mind not downloading for once in your f---ing life"

What I did: I got sh---ed off hard one time because he was a smug little c---- about it after i asked him to stop his downloads. he's all "oh yeah i'll just drop the bandwidth allocation to 'low' " So anyways he pissed off somewhere, so i went on his laptop (that had no anti-virus software lmao eat s---) for about 20 mins i was just clicking random pop-up ads and s--- and downloading those risky '.exe' files you find everywhere. gave him like 8 virus'. Never had a problem again.

I have a story quite similar to yours. I live with 3 other roommates, and I'm always bumping heads with one of them. The other two are afraid of confrontation so it's pretty much up to me to say something if the fourth roommate is being a c----.

My one roommate likes the place to be a sauna. I've lost count of how many times people have come over and complained about the heat. Worst part is, the dude has his own personal heater in his room, yet still insists on jacking up the temperature in the entire apartment every opportunity he gets. None of us talk to him anymore, and no one is looking to get violent, so it's essentially boiled down to us turning down the heat whenever he's not looking. Pretty f---ing childish at this point tbh

Him and I had a pretty big falling out last year. We had an argument over something trivial, and it turned into us trashing each other. He's an extremely aggressive person, and I know enough about his personal troubles to get him fired up after a few insults. Since then we don't really talk, so the tensions are always high (and pretty funny to people who don't live here).

@PRHYME is actually one of my roommate so he can back up what I'm saying.
