    i hated young thug when he was popping up on random Gucci collabs from like 2011-2013, granted he wasn't very good then

    and now he's the best rapper alive who woulda thot

    if it doesn't have to be just rappers, i'd say Slipknot. i thought they were just screaming, satan music but I listened to their albums and they're incredible
