Even though it came out in 2004, I'd go with Death is Certain by Royce da 5'9". I hardly see that album get mentioned.

    All of Papoose;s mixtapes

im gonna go with R.E.D because it gets SO much hate that i think is undeserved, it does fade off towards the end of the album but it nowhere near as bad as people say it is

Because no matter whether you liked this album or not, everything you are hearing from mainstream Hip Hop right now has been influenced by this album in one way or another.

This album is probably the most influential commercial Hip Hop albums in the last decade.

soulja boy is like a spirit guide for avant-garde rap. he's incredibly important.

i think it's a mistake to say a brilliant album by a relatively unknown person is "underrated"--so while i think billy woods' Dour Candy is one of the best albums of the decade, i guess it's not underrated. but on that note, something like American Gangster is: a phenomenal album by one of the most famous rappers in the world that somehow is never discussed.

    Both great albums
Wrekonize and Mayday are arguably the best artists on that label
