    I realise there are a lot of youngens on here, so may be a waste posting this . But anyway, I've got a pretty cute chick coming to view a room in my house tomorrow and was wondering does anyone have experience living with females ? Is it decent or nah ? Should I try smash?

    Me and my sister lived with each other with our parents until a few years ago when her and her husband got a house. It was great. We always got along and she would cook some good food. Never tried to smash.

    Any reason why? She's 20 btw, but she's just got a full time career job so seems like she has her head on her shoulders.

    Already had one housemate who I almost knocked out living here before, so just wanna make sure the next person to come in doesn't piss me off lol.

    Terrible idea. First of all if you even do have a chance to hook up with her I see it going two ways. She catches feelings and you can't hide because you live there or you do. If you don't have a chance with her then she brings weird dudes to your place. I know guys get a bad rap at being dirty but girls are a lot worse. If you have a shared bathroom better get ready for hair and feminine products everywhere. I almost did it a few years ago and one of my friends who had a similar situation stopped me...there's no good that can come from it unless she happens to be a supermodel who brings her slutty supermodel friends by for lesbian orgies where they invite you in.

    I'm living in a house right now with two guys and it's fine. I don't think they mind me at all.

    One of them is really dirty though so it sucks. But girls can be dirty too.

    I don't think you'll have a problem living with a woman just based on the fact that she's a woman. Unless you're romantically involved or actually trying to f---.

    Srsly tho... My friend lived with 2 guys and a girl two years ago and he said it was great. She cooked and cleaned. She was pretty ugly but liked to drink beer and help out around the house. Really depends on the girl. I would assume most of the time it wouldn't work tho,

    Man that would piss me the fu- off. I'm slightly introverted. Need my space, don't know if I'll ever be ready to live with a partner like that for life.


    Cheers for the advice guys, aint tryna smash I aint thirsty like that , but she is noticeably attractive , so it's just instincts taking over, but I'll be on my best behaviour. I'll see how it all goes tomorrow anyway, she may hate us for all I know .

    I lived with a girl once. I didn't enjoy it much. She was lazy, messy and seemed slightly crazy. When anything was brought to her attention, like leaving dishes in the lounge room for days, rather than clean them she would disappear for a while so that the rest of us would have to clean her s---. Living with her tainted her relationship with at least 3 people.
    I think I'm an okay housemate but as @Worm pointed out you are going to have to deal with products everywhere, bobby pins in the most random of places and just hair around the place. Sometimes I wonder how I'm not bald with the amount I find after I shower or brush my hair.
    But then the positives are having a womens touch around the place from cooking and baking to setting up easter egg hunts and she might bring some of her friends around for you to scope out.

    Shared a room with my old female roommate before (and a second one, briefly), and it was fine other than the fact that she was such an unbelievably lazy slob and her areas in the apartment were f---ing disgusting. But hopefully you won't have that to deal with...

    I had a female roommate, she wasn't too bad but she hated how I asked her for rent every month - wtf kinda person doesn't care about paying rent on time?

    i have a female roommate right now..first time ever (outside of past relationships). my situation will work out because i've been strictly friends with her for years prior to now. if you're just meeting the girl and wanna b--- her on sight, then you're f-----.
