    Relies heavily on the artistry and craft of others to make his own music and I'm not just talking about all the ghostwriting s---, has become very stagnant as well.

    He's a meme at this point and is doing it to himself.

    I don't think he sucks at all but he's become stagnant. And Budden was right, he sounds uninspired. Idk what it is, but there's something missing from his music now.

    I usually hate drake but I'm enjoying views a lot and thought he had a lot of passion on these songs... he just had a laidback delivery which (IMO) defines the mood of the songs. With that being said, I suspect drake doesn't know what to do next or how to do things better considering the fact that his close minded fans want generic music from him.

    I remember a german interview of 50 cent in 2006 where he said: "I have ideas to make things different, but my fans want me to make the same gangsta music over and over again, so thats what I'm gonna do". Sadly, 50 fell off few months after that. This makes me think that for a successful rapper to make good music, he either needs to ignore his fans so he can make the music he really wants to make, or he needs to have a quality fanbase.

    I'm not hating since I'm enjoying views... and I'm definitely not talking about the fans on section80 (I pretty much ignore the drake section so I wouldn't know...). But his 13 yo fans irl <<<

    50/50. Never thought I'd say that. I don't wanna come off too anti Drake cause I like most of Views, but something is lacking. Doesn't have that fire anymore.

    In 2014 I didn't wanna 'like' Views, I wanted to love this s---, comfortable enough to put it in the same tier as TC & NWTS, but at this point I think I'd rank it below IYRT.
