    the first season of silicon valley was great. it's maddeningly flat now.

    the latter half of the first season really is pretty undeniable. it's teetering on being unwatchable just due to the long-term writing problems, but the cast is so good that there's a floor on how funny each episode can be.

    a lot of jokes just seemed recycled/stuff ive laughed at in better scenarios. i like this show (kinda) tho
    need watch soon then

    veep is grossly overrated in a lot of ways.(i have to hear tonedeaf politicos wax on about how "accurate" it is all the time). i think this past season took some narrative shifts that were interesting, but sometimes the snark level rly turns me off. personally, i prefer silicon valley
