Feb 25, 2015 original card had so much potential. Mir vs Bigfoot had me more interested than this current one.
Feb 28, 2015 Cyborg starched her opponent last night in 43 seconds. At this point they need to make Cyborg v Rousey
Feb 28, 2015 I'm so conflicted with the main event. I've been a big fan of Ronda since she came in to the UFC and I want her to remain undefeated, but I don't want Cat to lose either. Gotta root for Rousey though. They said Cyborg's next opponent is an "unknown opponent" at the time. I could really see after Rousey wins, during the post-fight press conference they make an announcement about Cyborg/Rousey. I don't think it's just a coincidence they both defended their titles a day apart.
Feb 28, 2015 Cat is set to make $100,000/100,000 tonight. Wow, 3rd fight and makin bank, maybe because its a title fight. She must have a really good manager.
Feb 28, 2015 Fight Pass prelims are about to start and then the televised prelims in a little less then an hour. @Showtime @Keigan @Big John @ASK JEEVz @shogun @bender @AwkwardTom @fed @IceyJesse @killie @fader @x326 @jroy7 @Minne @havoc @TacoT @Daniel @ruff @Axe @Clive @Air B @Princeton_undergrad_sup @Sahara @Jay @Guerilla Unit @Five Star @Detroit24 @Baltzer @Hova The God @Sam http://taima.tv/r/mma
Feb 28, 2015 f---ing ridiculous how the stream is 3-4 seconds ahead of my television. Streams should be behind!
Mar 1, 2015 Well I happened to turn it on right in time for the main event and it ended in 14 seconds lol. It actually worked out well for me cuz I was gonna go watch the 3rd period of the Wild game in a few minutes anyways. But d--- I'd feel ripped off I paid for that lol, wanted Ronda to win but don't really know why cuz I don't know s--- about UFC. Gonna start following it more though.
Mar 1, 2015 It was such an exciting finish, that I'd of been fine paying for it. I mean I paid for Rousey/McMann and was disappointed with that when it happened, but that finish would of been worth it for me.
Mar 1, 2015 Ugh I dunno. I'm not in a position to really say if it was an exciting finish or not cuz I don't know anything but my guess is it would depend on what people wanted to happen going in. If they wanted a good fight, they were probably disappointed. If they wanted Ronda to win, they were probably fine with it. How long do people typically have between fights btw? Like when would be her next one most likely?
Mar 1, 2015 It really varies between fighters. Ronda's last fight before this was in July of last year, so that was a 7 month lay off. If anything, I could see Rousey on UFC 190 on August 1st. All the other cards are double booked with title fights other than UFC 188 in Mexico and I doubt we'll get Rousey fighting in Mexico. I mean unless a card gets wrecked with injuries or if they decide to book her on a Fight Night card. EDIT: Ronda is also going to film another movie after this fight. They just said it in the press conference. After that they'll talk about when she fights again. Definitely gonna be around UFC 190 or later before she fights again.
