Oct 10, 2015 It's a great business decision. Drake stays relevant collabing with a rapidly rising artist. Future collabs with rap's current biggest artist. It helps both of their careers. But the mixtape itself was one of the worst projects I've listened to in recent memory. I honestly can't remember the last time I've heard of an album from a major artist which was thoroughly unpleasant and had not even 1 track I'd download. Even French Montana and 2 Chainz (as standard rap artists they are) had a few catchy joints on their albums I'd listen to more than once. There's little harmony and melody on WATTBA . There's no real "bars" or complex rapping. No real storytelling or any emotionally resonating songs. No good singing. It's basically the same old s--- washed in autotune. There's almost nothing artistic or human about this. It's generic rap on autopilot.

Oct 10, 2015 More of a 3/10 mixtape. There's nothing intellectual, emotional or innovative about this album. Music is art. And art derives from the human experiences. WATTBA has to be one of the emptiest things I've ever listened to. It's exactly what Hopsin was parodying with his "No Words" video. MAIN POINT - If this mixtape were from 2 underground artists instead of Drake and Future - you all would think it sucks. Drake will recover from this big blemish. He's capable of much more. Future, I dunno.
