Jan 10, 2016 Ever since like 2010, Dre hasn't Produced beats. He didn't produce on MMLP2, or TPAB or GKMC. He didn't produce a single track by himself on Compton, and his contribution's to the tracks he did produce on, were not beat making...what is up with that? He's not incapable of making beats.
Jan 10, 2016 You could argue he never did. The co producers did a lot of the work. But he's the master of mixing mastering and making the final product sound smooth.
Jan 10, 2016 The beats are there just hasnt been heard yet...Not a believer in hoarding dope beats for years(Like WU tang) but Dre knows what he's doin...He'll prob use them one way or another
Jan 10, 2016 tbh the only album he "produced" that i never saw any co-producers was Relapse.. not even his own albums were just only him producing
Jan 10, 2016 People actually think this? Wow I had no idea people were this clueless when it comes to big productions. Dre used to be at the same place as Kanye, where he works with a lot of different musicians and producers but ultimately does most of the creative process, and makes all the important decisions. The difference is that his label hasn't been very good at giving the right people credit. Recently he's just been cosigning stuff with his name to make it sell (see beats by dre for more)
Jan 10, 2016 He doesn't do anything anymore. Did he write one verse or produce one beat on Compton? No. So the album was basically put together for him. No wonder it was absolutely god awful.
