I'll be updating the list with 2 albums a day for the next 3 days. I'll include two notable songs off each project for those of you who haven't heard the album. List HM: ScHoolboy Q - Oxymoron HM: YG - My Krazy Life 5: Big K.R.I.T. - Cadillactica 4: Isaiah Rashad - Cilvia Demo 3: Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata 2: Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels 2 1: J. Cole - 2014 Forest Hills Drive
Dec 26, 2014 Kinda disappointed, the YG joint was my favourite of the year. Was hoping to see it crack the top 2 at least
Dec 26, 2014 Loved My Krazy Life. Expected it to be closer to #1, but I'm glad it made the list! I felt like it was a movie of YG's g--- and family life. It was incredible to read the Rap Genius annotations while listening to the album song to song. Before 2014FHD, it was my favorite rap release since GKMC.
Dec 26, 2014 Giving FHD a full/thorough listen in preparation for when it's ranked higher than MKL and the rest of the incredible albums this year Need to be ready to s--- on it
Dec 26, 2014 The last couple days I've been listening to YG. At first I was liking the album but the more I play it the more I hate it,lol.I'll try again with that album later down the road.
Dec 26, 2014 Yeah just to be clear I'm not rolling these out slowly to add to the suspense or get the replies popping or nothing. I'm just trying to add some production quality with this list rather than just listing em and posting youtube videos Also, I f----- up and miscounted. YG didn't crack the top 5 He sits at 6 and ScHoolboy is at 7.
Dec 26, 2014 f--- out ta here with that wish wash. FHD is car better than anything yg could ever make.
Dec 26, 2014 Never heard of YG - gave the two noteable songs a full listen. I've heard both them songs a million times before, talk about boring.
Dec 26, 2014 My Krazy Life doesn't have Wet Dreamz: That's a win for me. Also Mustard goes hard with the production on this album. Only thing about MKL is that i don't like it so much as a "concept" album but i think is a 7.5/10 record.
