Jan 12, 2015 This s--- would be priceless. Now, i don't think Recovery is a bad album, but the punchlines on most tracks of the disc are really, REALLY cringeworthy. There are so many horrible puns that the s--- need a thread. Let's see how much we can discover and how many pages we achieve. I would put some ones: And last but not less, a classic:
Jan 12, 2015 Before 09 Eminem didn't do many punchlines at all. But he was clearly heavily influenced by Wayne & seen how big he got so he decided to start doing them. I still enjoy Recovery though.
Jan 12, 2015 A couple of brilliant ones: "Now you get to watch her leave out the window Guess that's why they call it window pane" "f--- the world, feed it beans - it's gassed up"...
Jan 12, 2015 Till my hip don't hop anymore Almost wanted to post a survival line, it really sounds like a Recovery leftover
Jan 12, 2015 30 in million cds and singles, perhaps more rappers should start using terrible punchlines. it might help their careers
Jan 13, 2015 They'll never catch up to all this energy that I've mustered So I'm a f--- til I die, yeah I'm a do it to death like a f--- you for Christmas his gift is a curse it's time to exorcise these demons These muh'f---ers are doin' jumpin' jacks now haters can make like bees with no stingers and drop dead treat this roof, like my daughters and raise it lift the whole liquor counter up 'cause I'm raising the bar s---, I forgot just how bad Not Afraid is
Jan 14, 2015 I think recovery is the better album out of the last 3 lps, but god d---, that joint with Pink is one of the biggest piece of s--- songs hes ever made.
Jan 14, 2015 I'm a thumb tack That you slept on son Now here I come screaming "attack" like I just stepped on one
Jan 14, 2015 I won't argue. I like MMLP2 more but without Recovery we wouldn't of gotten countless great songs.
Jan 14, 2015 Legit question: why does Eminem get shat on for silly punchlines? Like he's the only one I ever see get hate for that. Wayne, Bino, Ye, Jay, Em, all the new legends do it, but only Eminem gets hate. Legitimately confuses me.
