    "As many as 50 people have been wounded in a shooting at a cinema complex in Germany, according to local media reports.

    An armed man has reportedly barricaded himself inside the Kinopolis cinema complex, located in the town of Viernheim in western Germany.

    German police have said there is an "unclear threat situation" probably involving a weapon at a movie theatre.

    A spokeswoman said she could not provide any further information on what was happening.

    German newspapers have reported that elite police are on their way to the scene."

    Thats weird cuz gun legislation in Germany is considered among the strictest gun control in the world

    how is it weird? this is a rare situation because of the gun laws..not a common one like the us laws

    people are idiots in general due to situations like this, dont allow yourself to be caught looking like an idiot out there

    i mean if you thought there will be zero shootings in the next 200 years cuz of gun control, your r-----ed and should be checked ... the point is to minimize it

    Where is it written that strict gun control prevents all mass shootings? Its purpose is to make it very unlikely to happen.

    What's sad is Republicans will use this as an argument against gun control and its only a matter of time before another US shooting occurs.

    I heard the attacker turned out to be a German nationalist. It hasn't been confirmed yet.
